Here you'll find each of our main classes broken down into what age groups they cover, how we teach them and when they run.
MINI MARTIAL ARTS
AGES 4 - 7 YEARS
Mini Martial Arts Classes for kids aged between 4 and 7 years old!
These classes are designed to introduce your child into the martial arts world with the aim of learning the basics while enjoying each and every class!
Classes are drills and activity based learning designed keep younger children focused throughout

JUNIOR MMA
AGES 8 - 11 YEARS
Our Junior MMA classes will teach a student how to defend themselves through various methods of training. Classes cover ground and standing defence game through pad work and sparring.

These classes are also taught in a fun and relaxed manner to get the best out of students as they learn to defend themselves while growing their skills base.
​
Progress is grade based to give children that sense of achievement as they attend classes and develop further.

ADULTS MMA
AGE 17 - ADULTS 18+
Our MMA classes will teach a student all the fundamentals of both stand up fighting as well as grappling and ground work. Classes cover all areas of mma through pad work, partner drills and sparring.

These classes are also taught in a relaxed manner to get the best out of students as they develop their skills base.

LADIES KICKBOXING/ FITNESS
AGE 14+ - ADULTS
This class is a super relaxed, take it at your own pace type class! Suitable for complete beginners and a perfect way to improve your fitness in a steady way!

Kickboxing is an amazing form of cardio and paired with bodyweight exercises and some pad work drills it makes for a different type of fitness class!

KARATE
AGES 7 - ADULT
Karate is a martial art which will learn a student how to throw techniques as well as block and counter. These classes are suitable for anyone age 7 to adult. They're taught in a fun and relaxed manner.

We've got karate classes for beginners, sport karate (competition based) and our senior karate classes, for adults and our higher grade students.
​
Karate classes are our most popular and we even have mixed age classes to allow family training, so if you'd like to join in with your child that's possible too!

CADETS MMA
AGES 12 - 16 YEARS
Our Cadets MMA classes give older children a chance to get involved in a class specifically designed for them! We cover a variety of fighting styles, incorporating both stand up and ground work.

Classes include sparring, pad work, bag work and fitness conditioning.
​
It can be daunting starting a class at any age, so we even keep the teens classes super relaxed!

STARTING YOUR TRIAL
Come along and join in with one of our classes, take 2 weeks of unlimited training to decide if what we offer is for you!
What to expect?
When you come along to your first session with us, it can feel a little daunting... but that's the same with everything new...
Every class is taught in a relaxed manner, so its okay to not know what you're doing, we're here to help!
You'll show up, we'll introduce ourselves and possibly buddy you up with someone to help you through your first few sessions with us!
What should I wear?
We tell all newbies to come along as themselves. just wear some comfortable, sports type clothing. (NO BUTTONS OR ZIPS)
We'll ask you to take your shoes and socks off when entering the training area. (Just so you're aware).
We'd also like to point out no watches or jewellery is allowed to be worn during sessions, this is just for the safety of yourself and others.
Do I need to bring anything?
Nope, just yourself!
And a parent or guardian if you're under 18
And we advise to bring a drink too!

What should I do when I arrive for my first class?
We are located in - Unit 8b, English gate plaza, Carlisle, CA1 1RP.
When you arrive come in through the door with the entrance sign above. Ring the bell on the key pad if the second door isn't already open and one of us will buzz you in!
We'll give you a form to fill in, just to permit you to join in on your first session.
And you'll be waved to join in when the class begins - again don't worry too much, your instructor will keep you right throughout.
What happens next?
Take your first 2 weeks free to really decide if this is for you. Remember you can train unlimited in any class that suits your age group in this period. You may find that a different martial art or class suits you better.

After 2 weeks from your first session we'll ask you to commit with us, here you'll become a member, set up your membership and discuss getting your uniform. (If uniform is worn in your specific class).
